 Demi Lovato has become close to 18-year-oldOne Direction star Niall Horan, but seems there's no romance - yet.

'He's really sweet and he's one of my really good friends now,' says Demi, 19.

'But no, I'm single at the moment and plan to be for quite a long time.

'I need to focus on my career myself and my well being before i think about getting in a relationship with anyone.'

Demi, who used to date Joe Jonas, is currently working hard as a judge on the US X Factor.

But she does have time to Skype and share flirty Tweets with Niall, 18, who says:'Demi's a cool girl - she's really nice. I don't know what's going to happen.'
